Doing a piece for the Military Heraldry Society on the Frontier Guards in BAOR who in 1962 were given a new uniform with the titles "Frontier Service".

Anyone got a sample of the title to share?

I remember them well 193-85 ish, a right bunch of Grumpy Old Codgers working from Allied Checkpoint Alpha in Helmstedt right n the border of East & West Germany.
