Pretty sure its not anything to do with nuclear, the only "nuclear" fire services in the UK are the UK Atomic Energy Authority Fire Service (which I think is now run by Babcocks?) The Atomic Weapons Establishment Fire & Rescue Service, the UKAEA Dounrey Fire & Ambulance Service, the Sellerfield Fire & Rescue Service and the Springfields Nuclear Fuels Fire Service. All the nuclear power stations are run by British Energy and although they do all have fire engines they dont have a dedicated fire service but on call fire trained personnel drawn from the operating technicians.

Could well be an industrial fire brigade from some factory or other manufacuring facility, chemical works or refinery?

Regards Tony

Thanks Tony, I will probably give this one a miss then. A better picture would help a lot
