Default RCAF Nursing Service Photos?

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help. A friend of mine recently came into a pattern of Nursing jacket that was authorized for wear in the 1925 dress regs, and was phased out around 1943/44. It's a Norfolk cut with three buttons down the front instead of the usual 4. I'm looking for a photograph of one of these jackets in wear, so we can identify the type of belt worn. Dress regulations make mention of the height of the belt and the fastening method, but not of the material it's made of.
Hopefully someone out there can help!

Its interesting to note, the RAAF wore an identical pattern tunic, in both dark blue (winter) and tan (summer). I have the RAF (PMRAFNS) and the tan RAAFNS, if this one ever goes spare Mike let me know!

Sure thing......although he's not a crossdresser, he's so taken with it, he may alter his will to be buried in it!
Now he's hunting the RCAFNS cap to go with it!

That would be a find!

I know what you mean about the uniform. I have a mint, straight off the shelf RCAF WD summer dress, about 1942 dated I think. It was hanging up one day some years ago at home when we had a bloke round to measure up for new windows. Cant remember how the subject came up, but my mum said, 'Its my sons!'. I almost died!

Thats a good story! You should model it for us! I'd love to have one of those dresses......for display purposes only.....
