What is of additional interest are the crossed flags, which represent that of the SAA.

I've been thinking about this and I think I might have been mistaken between the words for wealth and royalty - same roots some different dots!

Thus the motto would read Justice is the Basis of Royalty - which would be much more appropriate.

I had a Jordanian look at some of my unknown Arabic script buttons posted earlier and he was doubtful about their meaning. Then it crossed my mind that he mightn't be military minded or possibly illiterate.

Hello Eddie,
I hate to bother you again, but maybe you can assist as you're quite a specialist in the subject.
I have these two North Yemeni buttons, the lower one has the YAR (North Yemen) emblem with the star on the flag, which is identical to the badge drawing on the right.
The upper crude button shows the same badge as the one on the left. Both badges were sent to me quite a while ago as beign from North Yemen but I can't find what the one on the left belongs to. Even the badge on the central triangle differs on the two badges.
Any assistance is appriciated.

I think they are both North Yemen. The device on the shield is in both cases a representation of the great dam at Marib (at the time of the Queen of Sheba and long lost in the sands!).
