Default Button ID if possible please - RND?

Attached thumbnail is of KC Naval button with what looks like R & D in Roman/Gothic letters either side of the anchor/crown. Rear is marked
J. R. GAUNT & SON LTD
LONDON ENCD

The C of ENC might have been intended as a G(?)but looks like a C
The TD of Limited and D of (England?) are smaller, set to top of main lettering and each have a full stop type dot below them

I may be mistaken but that looks like a Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve button to me

Default RN button

Hi Ray
I can't see any detail in the picture so I can't say for sure, and I have no idea if the RND had their own buttons. I would have thought that if they did there would have been an 'N' in the middle of the anchor as with the RNR and RNVR buttons. The RNVR button only has the letters RNV on it with the 'N' in the middle of the anchor. Another possibility might be Royal Dockyard, ie Chatham perhaps. Again, not sure if they yards had their own insignia but it's a possibility.
Cheers,
Alex

A late answer because I lost my computer for a while, but this is a RCNVR button & therefore I imagine a RNVR as well.
