As with battle dress thats got badges on im always aware that these were made up .. and i think this one maybe that

I think this unit (2 Medical Commando) was formed very late in WW2 - circa June 1945, after protracted discussion. Approval for the Cdo Group Badge (to replace Combined Operations insignia) dated from January 1945. Introduction would take some time, but my thoughts are that the Battle Dress is quite likely a marriage. I can not see how Combined Operations insignia would be correct, unless supply of Cdo Group insignia took over 6 months. I do not have my notes to hand to check this, but perhaps you could check it out.
Personally (my opinion only) I would not have it in my collection without attribution and explanation - perhaps ask the seller to explain how he came by it. It would be interesting to hear what is said.
