Coldstream Guards Officers Beret Badge
Can someone tell me the size of the current Coldstream Guards Officers wire beret badge? Also the size of collar and rank stars?
Sorry for all these questions but is there a difference in the rank stars between the Coldstream Guards and the Household Cavalry? Grateful for any help. Paul |

Here is a beret badge on the blue-red-blue ribbon backing. larger than collar or rank stars.
For rank stars and collar badges size depends on if metal or embroidered and the order of dress being worn on. Tim

The Grenadier, Coldstream and Welsh Guards adopted miniaturised stars of the Order of the Garter for rank after WW1, in emulation (albeit no doubt unspoken) of the Household Cavalry regiments, who’d used them for some time. The Scots and Irish Guards use the stars of the Orders of the Thistle and St Patrick, respectively.
