Default Victorian Crown Maid of Erin Collar Badges - Can anyone identify them for me please?

Hello All

I have just received the pair of collar badges pictured below. A nice gilt pair of Victorian crowned badges but I cannot find them in Churchill's Infantry Collar Badge Book. Can anyone identify them for me please.

Many thanks in advance

Paddy

Could be either 8th Irish Hussars (as Rob suggested) or the 5th Irish Lancers.
I've never seen the Victorian collars with non-voided strings before though

Paddy,
Lovely things, thanks for sharing, they look to have a Royal Irish 'feel' for me, possibly one of the Victorian Militia's? Regards Mark

Rob, Kyle & Mark

Many thanks for your suggestions. I will continue the search for a definite identification, one thing I know for sure is that they are not Ulster Defence Regiment collars as described by the seller.
