I'm 99% sure that the last one in the second photo is a police patch, by the design I'd say the police academy.

Thank you NorBn and Chacal for your input.
With the help of the link that NorBn gave, I have now been able yo identify 16 of the patches, so that has been most helpful. I don't know why I was unable to find the link myself on the Internet, but I'm grateful that NorBn did.
The one identified by Chacal is different in both shape and construction from all the others so it may well be a Police patch. I would certainly agree that it is for an academy, so I am happy to go along with Police Academy.
If anyone else can help with any other identifications, I would appreciate any information or pointers as to where I may learn more.
