Default mess dress button to identify

Was this mess-dress button (15 mm, Jennens & Co, London) for the
15th London Regiment (Civil Service Rifles) (?)

It has all the ingredients of a white metal button identified by Roger just over 3 years ago.
(The central bow of the crown is missing, most likely since it was made)

Has the look of Eddies (VII) Gurkha Rifles? Take a look at the boss badge.... https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/30070756

Also The Crown is that of the Princess of Wales (no central column) as seen on the Yorkshire Regiment cap badge (Princess of Wales's Own) [Green Howards].

There is a photo of an identical button to this with the central bow of the crown missing in British Buttons by Denis G. Blair. No.28 Equerries to the Prince of Wales.
