Cool RE GvR cap badge

It could of course be a group of medals to a man who was a regular soldier and who continued to wear his old cap badge after the 1937 Coronation.

Interesting lot this as 1865855 Herbert John Fooks did enlist in the Royal Engineers in 1927…..however he died in 1941 aged 38 and is buried in the Sai Wan War Cemetery in Hong Kong. So the medals and the slip don’t add up.
