Default F E Woodward Badges

I am aware of the following badges produced by F. E. Woodward, but would like to know of other regiments' badges which may have been made by this company:
  1. Hertfordshire Regiment
  2. East Surrey (econ)
  3. Herts Yeomanry
  4. Queen's Royal West Surrey (econ)
  5. ASC
  6. ASC (econ)
  7. Army Cyclists Corps
  8. Bucks Battalion (B/B)
  9. 19th County of London (St. Pancras)
  10. 21st County of London (First Surrey Rifles)
From this list, it would appear that Woodward only produced all-brass badges - it would be interesting to know if they also produced other types; b/m, bz, w/m etc.

With thanks,

Peter.

Peter,
you can add:

Royal Engineers and Royal Fusiliers too! Off the top of my head there are some all Gm 1916 badges too.. RWF, SWB, Inniskilling Fus, E.Surrey, Queens, E.Lancs......

http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...hp?albumid=400

And I would also agree that I can only recall seeing single metal productions with their mark!

Peter,
sorry please ignore, most of the above, it was Smith and Wright! I will check my badges over the next few days and get back to you!

I believe The Northumberland Fusiliers (econ???) can also be added to this list. I think Simon, may have an example.

You beat me to it Griff. I've had this wide topped slidered version of this yeomanry outfit for some time and always thought it suspect. I'm wondering now if it's FN unmarked as you mention above on the Warwicks.

Simon

I suspect that an unmarked "FEW" would have a good "characteristic" crimp mark...... I have seen some other badges "unmarked" on the forum that have it.

Hello Peter.

I found this Middlesex Imperial Yeomanry (Edward VII) by Woodward.

Hi Griff, possibly so. I have a Leicestershire TF with the same slider and slight crimp.
