Andrew,
Could be Middlesex Yeomanry going by their stable belt colours? Note the green outer borders on the belt like the background of the tie. This from http://www.stablebelts.co.uk/ Tim Tim

Further research shows broader stripes on the ties worn by the Middlesex Yeomanry Concert Band.

The red/white/green is used on Merchant Navy ties, though I think the stripes run diagonally down right to left, not left to right, though I have no idea if that makes a difference, I don't know much about ties.
