Default Catterick Garrison

Hello, I recently brought some formation patches and they included 2 for Catterick Garrison. I have attached photos of both. One is a normal colour for the patch, the other has a BLUE surround and a BLUE backing. It has been suggested that it is faded. As you can see it has been attached to a Uniform (or other item) at some time, if so the back would not fade?
Can you explain please?

Having looked at a couple of Catterick Garrison patches, I think my "green" one is cut with points north, south east & west.
But still no idea with the "blue" patch???

Thanks Madziro,

I am still seeing a green tint on my PC at least, It is not the usual darker green but more of a lighter green tint and with a slight touch of blue. But that could just be my PC, which is why I state that.

Interesting patches!

I thought it was just me , in post #1 I see a dark patch and a 'washed out' green/blue (turquoise ?) one.
