Default Arm badge 3rd King’s Own Hussars and Artillery badge

Hi can I run these past you please!

Running Horse on Field 3rd King’s Own Hussars, is this good or a Martin Marsh fake?

Officer’s Artillery badge, as it is Die struck has my attention straight away but wish to make sure? Many thanks in Advance Billy

Billy,

The RA Territorials OSD cap badge is in my opinion a poor fake.

The badge is from a very worn die, the laurel spray almost disappearing its that worn.

Bearing in mind all these TF badges were made over a hundred years ago they were of very good quality and as you suspect 99% solid backed.

The rear of the other looks chemically aged also.

Yes thats OK, probably a bronze painted version rather than solid bronze, but original for sure.
