Default George V Cypher Cap Badge

Hi,

This is my first posting and I was wondering if anyone can tell me which regiment or organisation this cap badge is related to (image attached).

Thanks

Colin

Welcome.

Army Recruiter and / or Barrack Warden.

I would say Army Recruiter. The only photo I have seen of a Barrack Warden used the NDC cypher with crown.

Thanks Alan and Luke, so would this one be the Barrack Wardens badge as some sites show it as the Norfolk Yeomanry (The King’s Own Royal Regiment).

It is the badge most commonly used by the Royal Defence Corps in WW1. It is half the size of the NY badge.

it was worn by other users including BWardens. RDC remain the largest users.

£6-8 for a RDC badge whilst Recruiters is £25-35.
