Another 39th with screw posts
Hi. A silver one which came from a different source than my other. It has screw posts. Please can anyone tell me if this is original and what it was worn on please?
Many thanks |

Martyn,
That is a 39th ???? RVC Pouch Badge. It is silvered and not silver. The front photo is out of focus so difficult to comment on originality. best wishes

If you go to the website of Coldstream Military Antigues and look for 39th Lanarkshire Rv shako you will see that the surface of the numbers is similar to this badge, ie a bubbly surface as opposed to a plain surface. Although this doesn’t mean your badge is definitely from Lanarkshire. As I’ve learnt over time it’s a nightmare to establish where the numbered badges come from. One piece of advise I was given recently is stick to named RV badges, it saves getting a headache from the numbered ones.

Many thanks Kevin. I don't usually buy these but this one took my eye, I'm glad I did though as it's quite attractive.
