Default Yes, No, Maybe, I don't know, Would you repeat the question?

Your thoughts and (printable) comments on this helmet plate that I got from the same source that provided all of the WWI, Canadian and Indian badges that sold so well here. I can't remember if I added the red baize for contrast or if it was on there originally. Thanks for your input.

In this regard, being that I am not familiar with these, how does one discern a fake helmet plate from genuine? Have often seen them pop up on ebay etc., but never sure of them.

I think the centre looks fine, I cant say for certain it's always been paired with that plate though.

Are not the large plates supposed to have U shaped wire loops instead of cap badge style lugs?
