Default Historic period and originality badge Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders

Hi everyone, my name is Matteo and I'm a new forum member. Sorry if my english isn't correct, but I'm using Google Translate. I created this post to ask you if you could confirm if these Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders badges are original and if they can date back to WW2. Thank you all.

Yes they are original and could be earlier than WW2, Collar badges were not worn on WW2 Battledress so they are likely to be earlier.

Just from the photographs, I would say all original and they can certainly date back to WW2 and beyond.

Default Another A&SH Badge for Opinions

I also have an Argyll and Sutherland badge similar to Matteo’s that I would be interested in opinions on authenticity and time period of use.

The design was in use from c1910 until the 1960s when an a/a version was made.

Thank you Alan. Do you think my badge above is an original or a reproduction?

Kind regards, Dave

It is a genuine badge in my opinion. No way to tell when it was made or worn as this was in use for so long, as mentioned.
