A zoom of the back shows SGT BILKO TRADING, a reproduction, but a good one.

...and obviously not "...BEEN IN MY COLLECTION FOR WELL OVER 50 YEARS" as the seller claims!
But the question is whether or not this is actually a "reproduction", or an authorized "restrike"; either an issue item (past or present) to the FGH or available in their kitshop as a "private purchase item? Isn't Dave Hiorth a member here? Perhaps he would be willing to shed some light on the origins of the badge?

Not repro. Definitely authorized. If memory serves it was from about 15 or so years ago. Still a few kicking around the armouries. |

That's good to know that these are in fact correct...I've never seen one of these before...

Dave did (maybe still does) a fair bit of business with DND, supplying badges, patches, swords, sashes and other items so this badge may be a recent regimental issue. It definitely is not WW2 as the seller claims.

These badges were purchased by the FGH kitshop to be sold as an alternative to the DND issue badge. In addition to the stamp on the back, they have horizontal ridges on the stem of the leaf which do not appear on any other version of the 1922 pattern badge.
