Danish forces in exile cap badge
What cap badge did Danish troops in exile wear? Did the troops assigned to the Royal West Kent regiment have a distinctive cap badge at all or simply the RWK?
I just purchased "Allies in battledress" but it didn't answer these questions. |

I don't think there ever was an actual "Danish army in exile" since the Danish government did not leave for the UK after the invasion like the Poles, Dutch, Belgians etc. Presumably therefore there was less attention to creating national insignia. Apart from the shoulder title flags I've never seen one anyway!
Of course, I'm no expert! BP

There certainly were several hundreds of Danish troops in exile who had a distinctive nationality patch and shoulder title so I see no reason why no cap badge was designed?
