Hi Fougasse 1940,
No idea why there is an extra "S" I'm sorry, but its definately British Officers. As promised here are both pouch badges I had to photograph the one without the gilt in its frame but it is exactly the same as the other without the screw fittings. 1) Pouch without gilt but enamel correct. 2) Pouch front good gilding but with enamel relacement. 3) Pouch back with correct fitting. The back is a great help, Thanks. I found some matching square brass nuts, all I've got to do now is round of the sharp corners a bit. Next step, try to find a badgeless pouch... Regards, fougasse1940 |

"P" is indeed plate, in this case gilt and chrome? Nice collection, you seem to have them all! Do you have a GviR "wrong" cypher Officers or OSD bronze as well, as I've never seen those, were they made at all? Regards, fougasse 1940. Last edited by fougasse1940; 20-12-07 at 10:02 AM. |

R.a.s.c.
Hi Fougasse 1940,
Well I thought I had them all until I was corrected about the 1949 high crown pattern and I also have not got a Kings Crown George V1 A/A which sells for an exorbitant amount of money.I've seen them fetch over £600.00 each. Here are some more examples. 1) O.S.D. K/C George V1 2) O.S.D. K/C George V1 in a more rounded shape than normal star with matching collars. Regards Bantam.
