Orders of Parade Headdress for the RLC since Formation in April 1993 Band or Corps of Drums in Full Dress - Home Service Helmet In all other forms of 'Parade Dress' Officers & WO1's - Officers Coloured SD Cap (Corps RSM & Conductors wear Gold Braid Peak) WO2's - Other Ranks 'Cap, Service' Staff Sergeants & below - Beret A pool of 'Cap, Service' is held for Special Duties such as Royal Guards etc.

Thank you, I thought that I had read that the Beret was a temporary measure along with the cloth beret badges until stocks of the metal Cap badge were up to the required quantity when they would then revert to the normal head dress like everyone else.
Will it be downloadable when completed? On a similar note, I have noticed a number of soldiers of the AGC wearing the beret or other head dress of the unit they are attached to, which makes a special colour for the AGC pointless. Marc

I saw it on the intranet first, and was surprised to see it on the open internet!
I have asked a serving officer friend of mine if it is being printed as well? I use a program called httrack in the past to download a copy of linked pages to a DVD ROM http://www.httrack.com/page/1/en/index.html

Although clearly shown in the photographs there is no mention of the 'thicker' officer pattern lanyard (male and female) in the written lists?
Tim p.s. It is the lanyard that is thicker (not the officer)!

Yes I did note it is not consistent on all pages, and even Ceremonial & Non-Ceremonial are not always the same way round!
