Default Devonshire Regiment Large Badge

Hi Everyone.

Hope you are all keeping well. I purchased this Devonshire Regiment badge which was advertised as being large but certainly wasn't expecting it to be this big! Does anyone have any idea what it would be for as it's beyond my usual area of sweetheart badge collecting based on size and back. Seems to be made of tortoiseshell and white metal.

Ivd put a standard tortoiseshell sweetheart next to it for size comparison.

Thanks

Hi Terry,

Yes they we're and ive got quite a few in my collection. However this one is much much bigger and thicker. I put a MGC one by the side which is the usual size of the tortoiseshell one. I don't know how this could have been worn as a badge as its very bulky and heavy.

Thanks
