P.P.C.L.I. repro titles

A vendor is offering P.P.C.L.I. titles. The listing is nearly two years old, but collectors should be aware of these, as they could be passed as CEF era.

This vendor appears to only sell reproduction items. Sometimes he advertizes them as repro; sometimes not. He also does forage caps, badges and patches.

I can't understand why he is reproducing them. I know a dealer in Kingston who has enough real ones to supply a battalion; he acquired them at the time of unification when it was decided to get rid of regimental distinctions on the new Canadian Forces uniforms. Didn't work though.
