Default Highlanders badge

Hi,
I am not sure what this badge is but I think it is Gordon Highlanders? Any chance it is a good one or is it a copy? Any opinions gratefully received..
cheers,
Rick

Rick,

Its one of the typical 'large' badges that have been made since the 1970's and is a fake.
The quality is totally lacking as is any evidence of age.
Often seen in numbers on ebay and every non specialist auction house who bags themselves a 'militaria' collection to sell.

regards

Looks like No 297 from the Martin Marsh catalogue.

Hi, thanks, pretty much confirms my gut feeling, however I paid peanuts for it so into the scrap pile it goes...

cheers,
Rick
