Mixture of Cavalrymen c.WW1
Hi all. I picked up this postcard today and thought it was interesting enough to share with you all given the mixture of cavalry badges on display. I think I can see:
6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons 10th Royal Hussars Life Guards (?) Royal Artillery at far right (?) Can anyone identify anything else? Many thanks.

Hi, lovely photo, can't help with badges but thanks for sharing, with all those swords, a sword drill course? All men of rank, mostly Sgt's. Regards Mark

Great pic - a number are wearing Territorial Force Imperial Service badges on their right breast - pre-War (>1910) or early War. Two VF Efficiency Stars to sleeve of Sjt. right of the Major. 2DG Queen’s Bays cap badge. Cheers Dean

1908 Pattern Cavalry Sword
The swords in the picture appear to be the 1908 pattern Cavalry Sword. That could date the picture to 1908-1910 and the group could be of potential swordsmanship instructors being introduced to the new weapon.

Thanks for posting this photograph. There is no doubt that the sword being carried by all the men in the front row is the 1908 Cavalry Sword, you can tell by the distinctive shape of the bowl of the hand guard, I know as I have one. Therefore I doubt that there would be an Artillery sergeant in what would otherwise be a Cavalry course. Regards Phil.
