Christmas Badges
I can't wait to see pics of all the badges Father Christmas may have brought.
He gets to us first on his way round so we have all had a chance to check our stockings already. I do hope he had some goodies left in his bag for the rest of you......if you were on the "nice" list. Here is mine. The Goldfields Infantry Regiment from about 1903 to 1912. This one is a collar but hopefully a hat badge may turn up some time in the future. (Hoping, hoping) Donny B. |

This ex 10LH (WAMI) man is green with envy over Father Christmas being so kind to you. A lovely badge. Congratulations.
Merry Christmas johnG

Christmas present badge
Dear Donny.
Father Christmas has arrived here in the UK and brought some stuff that he didn't leave on the other side of the world. Look what he left me. This unit was only in operation from 1943 to 45 so not many around. I wonder where Father Christmas got this one. Best wishes Chris |

Although these are my Acquisition's of the Year, they are also my christmas presents to ME. RMC vc in gilt/enamel/felt no K&K, RMC vc in gilt/silver/enamel K&K1072, RMC EDV11 in gilt/silver/enamel K&K1073 and the British Security Coordination badges, both patterns Also K&K1939 RE in gilt. There have been others but I think these stick out from the rest. The two BSC badges are marked "SCULLY MONTREAL"
Sorry some of pictures are a bit dark.

Have you seen the marvellous Amazon Wish List Add-on for web browsers? It allows you to keep track of what you want and add anything from any website to your Amazon Wish List.
This is what it says... This add-on provides an "Add to Amazon Wish List" button right on your browser that allows you to add any item from any website to your Amazon Wish List. The button animates with a blue plus symbol whenever you land on a product page as a reminder of this functionality. Just click the Amazon button to add a desired item to your Amazon Wish List. What a great idea! One single Internet shopping list, which can be viewed by family and friends - an especially good idea at birthdays and Christmas time. In the expectation of at least a few desirable gifts from those I love, I put eighty-four 'Buy It Now' badges from Ebay and other websites. Clearly their affection and admiration for me does not drive their charitable feelings in the same way as my own generosity is motivated towards them. I received several pairs of socks, three pullovers, a tie, new pyjamas and one (very good indeed) cap badge. Anyone out there with better fortune this festive season? |

Not a cap badge in sight... however I did get all 4 Australian Army Badge books by J.K. Cossum so I feel Santa was more than kind to me...

Santa aquired a rather nice sergeants Scottish Rifles 1915 hallmarked Glengary badge for myself. He even posted it too me from a well known dealer so really went the extra mile!!!!!

Won't get mine until back in the UK at the end of January - again not badges, but a Northumberland Fusiliers Territorial officers scarlet jacket complete with buttons and collar badges, but alas no rank shoulder cords. Plus an extremely rare 1910 copy of Territorial Regulations. Stuff that really gets the pulse racing
