One thing I can never get my head around on VTC's with branded fixing shanks is the variations between styles even across single makers. The Nottinghamshire here has a lovely deep crimp but it differs so much from the Fattorini examples in Tim's (TGBW's) named sliders album.

I'm not for one minute questioning the validity of the item in question in this case:

as the lettering is the same as on good ones. I've often said shanks and branding's may have been produced by a third party, maybe this is a typical case
