Queen's Own Royal Regiment button & tiger badge - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Hi. Can anyone add some detail about these items. The QVC button might be Dublin militia, but I have no information on buttons from this period. The tiger badge is 4cm long approx, looks like it could be a Leicestershire Regiment badge ? again not sure on dates.

Hi,

Button is I believe Dublin City Militia Officers, and very nice it is too! Not a common button to find. Is there a maker's mark on the back?

The tiger looks like the Hindostan version, only an option.

Thanks Dave. The button is by SHERLOCK & Co LONDON, I have another in my collection by FOLEY & CROKER DUBLIN.
