Info wanted on formation patch

The latest Thread section seem to be pretty active these last couple of days so I'll be brief & not list too many, There is a little thing I want cleared up though. Nemo identified one of these for me & I would like to know if the other one is the same unit although the color is different. And Nemo, was there a # to that London Div, like 47th for example? The one with the black background you identified as London, the red background is the one in question. Ray

I believe the white star on red to be 72 Independant Infantry Brigade which saw WW2 service in India and Burma, See Cole "Formation Badges of WW2" page 130.
