Default Repro Kings crown RAF Squadron badges

A dealer friend of mine showed me a Kings crown RAF Squadron badge today which he thought was a modern copy, I thought it was to, does anyone know if these are being repro'd?

When you say modern, are saying brand new, you can get new examples that have been made after a particular unit had ceased to exist, but, I would not describe them as copies, unless they have deliberately been made and are offered for sale as a badge that was originally made seventy odd years ago.
You could buy Squadron badges in the 1970's at the RAF Museum, for example, that were brand new, many depicted units that were no longer extant

I think you can still buy them and patches from airshows.

Cool Kings crown RAF Squadron badges

Thanks for your replies chaps, yes, I see what you mean about badges for units that were disbanded years back, these of course were only meant for OCA/sweetheart wear and not official.

I will tell the dealer your thoughts.
