Hi Guys,

I'm trying to pick up the missing items from my post 1945 Royal Canadian Armoured Corps collection and was wondering if there are good books that show what insignia was worn by each RCAC regiment post WW2?

I'm trying to work out when the various RCAC titles and badges in my collection were worn.

Hi Mick, The best (only?) reference for post war insignia that includes the badges of the RCAC is Cap Badges & Insignia of the Canadian Army 1953-1973 Vol. 3.

Hi Mick,
I have a print out of all cap badges of the Canadian army, Regular Forces and Militia - Officers of the General List, Miscellaneous badges, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, Royal Canadian Armoured Corps, Corps of the Canadian Army.

The lists bear an inscription "AHQ (D Adm). October 1960. Revised May 1964".

Is any part of this of any interest, if it is I will send it to you. Part of a sample page is attached hereto.

My pleasure Mick, I will photocopy them over the next few days, in the meantime please pm me with your home address and I will mail them to it.
Being of 'foolscap' size the pages are too big for my machine, so I will take them to the local library when it opens after Christmas.
