Malaysian Navy ...
Hi All,
Hope I'm in the right thread ... I'm desperate to find badges for the Royal Malaysian Navy ... can only find the Naval badge itself rather than for any individual ship. I'm only after the images - so can any one help? Many thanks, + Anthony

Interesting point there Anthony, Not being connected with the British crown any longer, would they still continue the British practice of a "ship's badge"? You might find something if you google Malasian armed forces (or similar title). I've done that for a number of former British Empire countries. It's surprising how illuminating their web sites can be! Regards, David J.

Oh I've tried Malaysian Navy, Malayan Navy, Royal Malaysian Navy - I've even tried it in Malay itself - and never get a picture of a ships badge. They must recognise the ship in some way, surely? + Anthony

HI Anthony,
Try this link, it has a few ships badges on it but they are very small, still it shows what to look for. http://kbmyaf.byethost18.com/TLDM_fleet.htm Regards, Clay |

Hi Anthony,
You might also like to contact the RMN Naval Attache at the Embassy. Regards, Clay |

Anthony,
Another avenue would be to contact some of those companies that make the presentation plaques, I sure they make them for Malaysia and other Commonwealth Navies. As they do commissions it would be a good source. Australian makers too due to their proximity to Malaysia. Regards, Clay |
