OCS PATCH
I recently brought this cloth patch, it was described as "BRITISH OFFICER CANIDATE SCHOOL" Can you tell me anything about this ? Is it British, American etc ??

No such institution existed to my knowledge.
There was RMC Sandhurst and RMA Woolwich for peacetime officer training. The Senior Division OTCs existed at Universities as feeders for those. In wartime various training battalions, including the Inns of Court OTC, trained officers. None of them used OCS. Alan Last edited by Alan O; 19-03-19 at 09:33 AM. Reason: typo |

The colours an round shape would suggest Uk Civil Defence ? is the back pale hessian ?
