1st VB (Brecknockshire) SWB 1895 COLLARS
Just thought I would show these for reference.
A pair (non matching) of collars removed from a 1 V SWB uniform July 1895. Will load up the cloth shoulder titles once removed from the uniform. Ta img273.jpg img274.jpg |

Why are you removing them from a uniform? Surely it would be better keeping them together.

It a solution used by car mechanics to clean the oil/grease off brake discs on cars. Just to say there was a tar like substance on the uniform which may have come off the cross belt/pouch.

Brookies,
Most interesting , my 6th V.B. Kings Liverpools tunic has a similar mark on the front which I have also presumed is from congealed patent leather. Peter
