Default Rhodesian Artillery GS cap

A recent purchase: a 1945 dated GS cap badged to the Southern Rhodesian Artillery. I am just wondering whether the /collar/cap badge is supposed to be the sign of the 3/17th Rhodesian Field Battery (1/6 Filed Regiment SAA) or the sign of the Souther Rhodesia Light Battery as maintained by Owen 583. I have provided a pic of the 3/17th Rhodesian Field Battery (1/6 Field Regiment SAA) unofficial cap badge. wondering wether it could be possible to research Gunner Pohl...

Yes they would need to provide Provenance. Simply stating that it is SRA does not make it SRA. Some SA dealers are known to inflate an items description if they have a foreign buyer willing to spend good money. I hope that this is not the case here.

So do I: it was definitively NOT a cheap item. I will ask for provenience.
