Default Unknown Silver & Enamel kings crown with slider for id..

Hoping someone may able to pin this one down and be able to ID it.

This pattern of Crown, its quite distinctive in design, shape and manufacture, was worn specifically by the Metropolitan Police pre. 1953 as a rank badge for Superintendents etc. I've never seen an example with that fitting, nor can I say who would have worn it. Presumably intended for wear on a cap?
