Default Liverpool City Police Senior Officer badge on ebay

On eBay now is a Liverpool City Police SO badge with a solid centre item no below
385389141255

I have contacted the seller stating it is not original as stated.

Yes, it should be voided. I know that from a previous post I made asking for info on badges that should be voided or not. No doubting the source of that information, Dave, an expert in the field.
The sellers response was that 'a collector' had said both variants existed. I pointed out they did but only the voided one was original. I gave them a link to the LCP insignia site to help. Seller said they would look into it. Still up as original badge.

I've now also told him. Not that I expect him to do anything about it. But, you never know he may surprise us.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the 'surprise'. But if the seller is concerned about their integrity, you would think they would withdraw the badge, and relist it as a ( poor) copy, if they still wanted to make a couple of bob.
