Default RR?

Hi, anyone know what this is? Sorry about quality but light fading and flash cut in. I'm not one of nature's photographers. Mike.

Default RR?

I believe it is either a collar badge or FS cap badge to the City of London Yeomanry, otherwise known as 'RoughRiders'.
I haven't got access to any reference material to provide details.

Stephen.

It could very well be Rough Riders indeed, this is the collar/cap badge from my collection.

Hi, It does not look like any of the Rand Rifles or Rhodesia Regt. badges I have seen, so probably Rough Riders is correct. Regards Andrew

Default RR

Hi,

To the best of my knowledge and that is limited, the only cap badge I have seen to the ' Rough Riders ' using the R's is the one where they are mounted on a spur........perhaps Malcolm or Wilf can come up with a definitive answer.

Dave.

I haven't seen any like that for the Roughriders, they look more like Indian R's to me, any of our Indian experts got an ID for us ? Rajputana Rifles is all I can come up with !! Sorry not of more help, Wilf.

I believe it is likely something to do with the Rough Riders as well. It is certainly not Indian (The Rajputana Rifles cap and ST being entirely different).
