Default Sleeve Query

Hello, I am trying to find out what the three stars on the right arm of my great grandfathers uniform are, could anyone help please. Thank you.

He is a Sargeant in the Territorial Battalion of the Buffs East Kent Regt. The Imperial service badge on his chest dates it to 1910-15.

The stars on his sleeve are Territorial Force Proficiency Stars.

I believe I have found out now, thank you. They are efficiency stars and by the way they are laid out I would think there were four.
