I bought recently, at auction, a slightly battered cigarette case, silver, hallmarked.

Stewart Ernest H Foyle. Born 1899 Kensington, so probably too late for the Great War and too early for WW2.

How about considering a Home Guard MT Coy? A quick check doesn't reveal an independent unit but I think most counties contributed to area columns.
