3rd Carabiniers Officer's Badge?
I just received some British Officer badges and I need help with this one.
This 3rd Carabiniers badge appears to be an Officer's pattern. Does anyone know that the "P" on the reverse side means?DSC_0793.jpg DSC_0796.jpg |

Hello Travelnut, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
Iirc, P stands for plated.

The "P" means it played rather than of solid silver.
(Oops, that's already stated). |

Its seems to be an unusually high quality badge with the maker stampings applied by hand. Ok I won't question the feedback but why would a maker put a plated stamp on a badge?
