48th Glengarry Cap
Hey guys,
Been offered this cap. I dont know how you can tell if its Post War or WW2 era. From what I read its hard to tell the age of most of these caps...this one is void of any broadarrow ink stamp. Also is this a pipers cap? Looking for some help on this one. |

Not that I know diddly about caps, but the adhesive paper size label makes me think this would be relatively modern (60s? 70s?)

This is indeed the same cap that I was offered as I stated in my original post.
After I told the seller there was not enough info to confirm the age of the cap I would no longer interested. It is beyond my control if the seller at that point wishes to list in on Ebay or somewhere else. It would make most sense he would use the same pics he provided me to save time... |

Hello vix steel, thanks for confirming that is the lot in question. The note was a reminder to all of the new Forum rule.

48th glengarry
the standard glen for the 48th was red white and black dicing. the hackle is a bit odd but as it is on a (possible) pipers cap that may explain the hackle
