Hi Macandpud, The plastic Canadian Parachute Corps badge needs to have the lugs, and for a premium price, the plastic pin. With the lugs, your badge is in the $500 plus range. The VIII Recce badges have skyrocketed in the last year. One sold last week for $550, but the prices realizes have been in the $800 range over the fall and up to now.
I am sure some others will add their thoughts on value.

para badge
Dear Bill Many thanks for your information. The para badge has plastic lugs on the back and the owner has scratched his initials L H inti it.The *th recce has normal lugs and two folded over wire tabs a couple of mm long to hold on the title.
