3rd Bn East Anglian Regt pouch badge
I had understood this one to be a band pouch belt badge for the 3rd Bn East Anglian Regiment, but recently I have seen references to it being for 3rd Bn Royal Anglian..
Can anyone confirm which (or if indeed both) please? Thank you |

Pedant alert!!. The correct title was 3rd East Anglian Regiment, a single battalion regiment. They were, of course, to become 3rd Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment in 1964.

Was the 3rd Bn R Anglian disbanded, resurrected as TA?

Yes it is the latest numbering for the Army Reserve battalion.

3rd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment disbanded in 1992 (The Royal Anglian Regiment).
The East of England Regiment re-designated as 3rd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment in 2006 (The Royal Anglian Regiment (Volunteers)).
