Talking BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH MILITARY BADGE FORUM MEMBERS BADGES ?

good afternoon gents,
hey just a thought and i do not know if this has been mooted before but what about having a forum members badge, so members
could if they wanted show they belong to the forum at military shows, fairs
etc etc. and those that do not want to be known just do not need to buy one.
obviously it would need to be designed by someone or you could ask members for ideas. i do not have any idea what the cost of production but i should imagine the cost is not prohibitive. what do other members think.
regards andy.

I'm all for the idea though, I'd welcome a badge to wear at fairs,
Wilf.

Members if they chose could wear a name tag type badge. (4x3" size, around neck in a pouch type pocket, was my first thought). It could have the B&CMBF name & logo at the top, your user id and name if you chose. You could also include other info such as other collecting clubs you belong to, or what you collect......

I think it would be difficult to design a badge that would work for most members, the cost to produce & distribute could be a full time job.....

I am not an artist or good at graphic design, but a simple badge like what is attached might work.

A good idea! So when the dealers in fake/copy/repro cr** see us coming they will know we will post them on the forum as the cheats they are and maybe, a big maybe, they will get the message and crawl back into their holes.

Do you mean their holes, which have more than the usual three/four bedrooms, the big leather suites and the large flat screen, Plasma TV's etc, etc, all at our expense ??

Dave.
