Default early unknown badge ...help !!

Hi,
Bugle design appears pretty early X above PC ...early pewter....any ideas ??? thanks steve

I have been told it would have been sewn around the points of the triangle "straps" of bugle ,main fixing point at top...not there is two other places for holes but not punched through ....this actually was common place with early badges .
