It is indeed 11 (Royal School of Signals) Regiment - based nowadays in Blandford. Where all the baby siggies get trained (Unless you went to the College in Harrogate like wot I did).

No longer worn. It like all RSIGNALS regtl badges went this month.

There is an earlier all green version with out the cap badge and with a larger sword and flags, which was worn briefly in 2000-2. It too was removed as 'unapproved'.

Also gone is this monstrosity http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/ne...h_army/?ref=mr

I didn't realise all badges were ceasing to be worn.
Why is this.
Maybe due to not having enough soldiers to warrant making them with defence cuts!
What intake were you pal. I was 89c

That was the same intake as my younger brother (Rawson Squadron), went on to become AT RSM for two terms - still serving as a Lieutenant Colonel!
