16/22 Horse ?
When I first saw this badge every instinct screamed fake/copy.... the metal was wrong.. not brass... lugs are totally wrong.... and if that wasn't enough someone previously had written FAKE in ballpoint pen across the back. But I kept coming back to it... the detail on the front is excellent (way better than the picture shows) and there is a maker mark although almost illegible... SCULLY on one side and MONTREAL on the other... my hope is that it is some sort of pouch badge or crossbelt badge due to the style of lugs... of course I picked it up anyway as I'm a sucker for anything marked SASKATCHEWAN. Am I on to something or am I an idiot with to much imagination? comments welcomed Jim

Referencing SASKATCHEWAN'S PRAIRIE SOLDIERS 1885-1980 by Maurice Winton "A white metal version of the badge has appeared it is reputed to be bandsman." So far this is all I've dug up on a white metal badge to the 16?22. The book was printed back in 1980 . Anyone have info if copies of this badge were around at that time.... lug setup might be different for bandsman so that gives me a little hope. Thanks Jim

Jim although a cast badge I would think this was once on a trophy of some sort and is a period piece.
